Multisync

Hi!

Multisync is a Protokoll to sync PIM with PDAs. I need a multisync plugin for evolution to sync my opie data with evolution.

when i try to install it manually, ./configure only says "evolution not installed", so I didnt get it to work.

it would be very nice, when somebody maybe can help me.

http://multisync.sourceforge.net/

Thanks
andieh

Re: Multisync

I would like to second this nomination. It would be awesome to have a pacman package for multisync as well as packages for the associated plugins (evolution, backup, etc.).

Re: Multisync

- try collecting links (url, source) and information what depends on what and sort out how many pkgs it is (multisync depends on it's own stuff afair)

- then try to write PKGBUILD's ... there are enough "experts" who know how to do, so feel free to ask, if you do run in trouble... it's easy and you will learn a lot while trying

Re: Multisync

Not really (at least now), since i have no evolution installed and installing it will bring too much dependencies. However, it's pretty simple task, you'll need just change "cd ...." line in the PKGBUILD. I'd be happy to guide/help you though the change here in the forum if you want.

Re: Multisync

Does it work with evolution 2.6 ???
I get error while compiling from PKGBUILD

configure: error: This version of the Evolution plugin (and MultiSync) does only work with Evolution >= 1.4.
make: *** No rule to make target `install'. Stop.
==> ERROR: Build Failed. Aborting...

update: My fault  wrong dir name - it should be evolution2_sync , not evolution_sync
