Something little which some may find useful:
Open up Konqueror. In the menus, Settings->Configure Konqueror...
Select Web Shortcuts and click the "New..." button.
Fill the screen as follows:
Search provider name: AUR
Search URI: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?K={@}
URI shortcuts: aur
Charset: utf8
Click OK to close all the screens.
Now you can use aur:package_name in the Run Command dialog (Alt+F2) and search packages quickly, e.g. "aur:torcs".
Hope someone will find it useful.

Ive been using kde for almost 2 years now, but once i started using xfce, i havnt looked back. although i have a pretty good hw (3200mhz 64bit + 1gb RAM) the application response is amazing with xfce. besides, most of what kde offers is available on xfce, and who needs all that extra configuration features anyway? oh, and last thing - my VistaBut theme for xfce rox... which makes me just love to stare at my desktop

Similar trick for the latest Opera (9.0): right click on a form (e.g. search box on Arch frontpage) and select Create search... voila, you have a shortcut.
