[SOLVED] Invisible checkboxes in Firefox 43.0.1?

On my system, the latest version of Firefox (43.0.1) does not draw checkboxes, for example the one on the forum login page or the examples here. The box is still checkable, but there is no border or background color to indicate that the box is there before it's checked. Is anyone else affected by this? Even if I remove the mozilla directories in ~ and ~/.cache and/or run in safe mode, the problem persists so it does not seem to be a configuration error on my end or a problem with an extension.

I'm not seeing checkboxes either, at least for Firefox installed from the repo.

I also run an instance of Firefox manually installed from the Mozilla tarball. That instance displays checkboxes.

Running under KDE, with both GTK themes set to Orion.

Works fine here with Adwaita.

The Orion theme is the problem. No checkboxes here also. With default GTK3 theme it's ok. Too bad because other GTK apps look fine in KDE with Orion.

It is indeed due to the gtk theme. I was using a modification of the MediterraneanWhiteNight theme.

Marking as solved. Thanks.
