Given the popularity of Horde Groupware I was quite shocked to see that there are no Arch packages for Horde. In fact, as far as I can tell, Horde is not even packaged up in AUR. What's up with this, does anyone know?

Never heard of it. Website is stupidly slow and poorly designed. I'm not surprised it's not been packaged for the AUR..
Feel free to make your own PKGBUILD and share it on the AUR (if the license permits it).

EDIT: Moving to AUR issues.

Kolab is in there. Obviously, no-one has seen a need for it. Did you check the old AUR?

Kolab uses roundcube, which is an alternative to Horde Webmail (and is officially packaged for Arch). Very strange. I'm using roundcubemail now, and have frequent problems with stability. Trying to get a sieve plugin for vacation notifications working today was sufficiently frustrating that I considered switching to Horde. While the website leaves something to be desired, Horde is a much better supported webmail client -- this is what we use at work, so I have experience with both packages.
Based on BBS comments, the old AUR contained some extremely out of date versions of Horde (e..g version 2 when they're on version 5).
I don't have time to build AUR packages for Horde now, but will consider doing so after the holiday break. Thanks.
