Netbook hangs during shutdown 'device-mapper driver'

I've got a problem with my netbook. I've tried different distros, but I cannot suspend, shutdown or reboot my device. It all ends in a hanging black screen. During suspend, the screen doesn't become black but it just hangs.
It could be a kernel problem, so I tried the latest arch iso. When I want to shut down, I get the next error message (during live session):

/dev/mapper/control: open failed: No such device
Failure to communicate with kernel device-mapper driver
Check that device-mapper is available in the kernel.
Incompatible libdevmapper (unknown version) and kernel driver (unknown version).
Command failed

It's an Acer Aspire V3-112p. More people with this netbook seem to have the same problem.
