I use versionpkg wrapped in a script to build everything in my repo at once, so changing the rel has to be done by hand... and that's a pain in my ass.
Ahh that makes more sense...

Ok I finally found why thunar-media-tags-plugin-svn didn't work here (no "Audio" tab in file properties). You need to add "taglib" to dependencies
Thanks again shadowhand for your repo.

Sounds like a job for [rousing theatrical fan fair] SED!!!
sed -i -e "s/pkgrel=1/pkgrel=2/g" /path/to/PKGBUILDs/*-svn/PKGBUILDOffline
TomE... I'll give it some thought, but it really doesn't seem to be that big of an issue to me. It only happens once a month or so, but I will think of a way to do it.

Hmmm...latest round of upgrades really hosed Xfce for me. The built-in compositing doesn't work at all anymore. Xfce will load, but you can't right-click to get a menu (the first time you try, you just get an outline of the menu and then nothing inside it), and you can't even switch between desktops without it delaying for about 5 seconds.
I turned off compositing in my <code>xorg.conf</code> and started it back up and I've got menus again, but pretty much nothing loads. I can get Xfce's Terminal to load up a window, but that's it. Firefox will never actually open, I can't get Thunar to open, etc.
Anyone else having any problems with it?
--==EDIT==--
Looks like some of it might not be from Xfce's side...see this thread

yeah, last xorg updates broke a lot of apps for me. bittorrent and xfce won't even startup anymore. ![]()

i updated recently and no longer have shadows on my windows...i read somewhere that there are now options for customizing the shadows, but i don't know where they belong (i assume they can be set with gconf-editor) - any ideas?

nevermind, i fixed it with:
gconftool-2 --install-schema-file /usr/etc/gconf/schemas/compiz.schemasOffline
for some reason whenever i try and edit a menu in xfce from xfce4-menueditor it messes up the menu and i can no longer right click to get a menu
any idea why this is happening?
Offline
menueditor sometimes doesn't close <menu> tag correctly in xml file (~/.config/xfce4/desktop/menu.xml)

have you tried doing pacman -Scc first then install taskmanager again?

I reuploaded taskmanager and the db file. I think it was just a bad download.

Hi Shadowhand,
one question: shouldn't xfce4-session depend on cairo-devel?
Cheers,

Dunno, is weird, but I get
xfce4-session: error while loading shared libraries: libcairo.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directoryif I don't have it...
:?:

@Blind: Ah ha! I just added "cairo" to the depends of xfce4-session-svn, change will go into effect on the next update.

Not to be a pest, but can anyone tell me where the battery monitor and netload plugins have gone to? Are they just in the works, or has something taken their place?
Thanks.

Hi Shadow,
latest update of GAIM needs another dependency:
gaim: error while loading shared libraries: libgstreamer-0.10.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directoryCheers,

In addition to the problem reported by Blind, it seems that thunar-media-tags-plugin-svn should depend on taglib.
(thunar:19279): thunarx-WARNING **: Failed to load plugin `thunar-media-tags-plugin.so': libtag.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directoryI am a gated community.

Also wondering if you would be interested in adding mousepad-svn

+1 for mousepad-svn here
Haven't been here in a while. Still rocking Arch. ![]()

FYI: The wavelan plugin hasn't been ported to the new panel framework yet, so ShadowHand can not create a package for it.
Mousepad: there isn't anything new in the svn-mousepad except some translation stuff.
For the battery monitor: I'm currently working on a new version using hal, you can find it in the goodies svn [1].
Shadowhand, can you also build the weather and clipman [2] from svn? since there are a lot of fixes in svn atm.
Greets,
Xerverius

I agree with Recifeman!!
1.- Another +1 to mousepad
2.- For gaim-svn i installed gstreamer0.10 from comunity. With this gaim loads well, but now i'm getting no sound...
