GRUB2 resolution and looks.

Hello.  I have an Asus 4k monitor and nvidia 970 and I am having problems with GRUB.  I have found some nice themes to use but on my monitor they dont have the right resolution and the colours on the grub images look washed out.

Is there any way to remedy the situation.  I was thinking how to set up a framebuffer that would apply to GRUB, is that possible with a nvidia card?  And can GRUB handle 3840x2160 resolution without rendering the text way too small.

Has anyone else a 4k monitor and similar problems?  Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Have you tried the instructions on this wiki page? It solved my GRUB resolution issues.

Re: GRUB2 resolution and looks.

Thank you for the tip.  Yes I tried that but still the grub images look quite blurry/faded.
