I've been searching the forum finding similar issues and googling for hours so I figured I'd post here before I give up.
I just installed Arch and gnome/gdm. I'm dualbooting with windows and have a GTX 980ti and i7 6700k. When I try to start GDM the "oh no, something has gone wrong" crash screen comes up.
When I run journalctl -b It shows:
Process 890 (gnome-session-c) of user 120 dumped core.
Stack trace of thread 890:
#0 0x0007fdf0a9bc7e0 _lll_unlock_elision (libpthread.so.0)
#1 0x00007fdf02b59ccc n/a (libEGL_nvidia.so.0)
#2 0x0007fdf02ae7252 n/a (libEGL_nvidia.so.0)I typed that stack trace manually so it might have typos.
I have intel-ucode installed and I think I have the codes loaded properly.
Any help or place to look would be appreciated.
