[SOLVED] Yaourt Modify Pkgbuild shows nothing?

Typically when I hit "Y" to modify the pkgbuild, it opens a file in /tmp/mvim/***** and shows me nothing but the single line:

PKGBUILD

Did I mess something up? I remember installing mvim-git at some point before I could no longer edit the pkgbuilds.

What''s in your $EDITOR and/or $VISUAL env? Looks like the input file gets parsed by mvim as a file to rename instead of a file to open in vim

Looks like the input file gets parsed by mvim as a file to rename instead of a file to open in vim

Given the AUR description, that doesn't surprise me:

Rename or move files by editing their names with vim.

Is mvim even an editor?

EDIT: no it isn't.  It is a tool that calls vim to edit a file's name.  So why is it surprising that when you call mvim on a PKGBUILD all you get to edit is the file's name?

It turns out that my .zshrc had set my env EDITOR='/bin/mvim' . It's all working now. Thanks for the help! And pleased to meet you all.

After I was exposed to the awesome radiation of zshrc autocompletion.
