I can't do "clean" and "dirty" as there is no such thing for me.  My system starts up to a tmux session.  I work in a tmux session.  But I do have local and remote.  The local tmux provides the top bar (some with remote server names in them).  Tmux (or screen on one ... grr CentOS) provide a bottom bar of windows within the remote session.

It looks great! Would you mind sharing the colorscheme?

Re: January 2016 screenshot thread

Thanks.  I'm trying to think what might be relevant ... definitely the following three:
Xdefaults
tmux.conf (Local. Remote tmux.confs are similar but use a C-a prefix and have a bottom bar)
wombie.vim

My "wombie" vim colorscheme was originally based on a colorscheme called wombat, or wombat256, but I believe every bit of it has been since replaced like Theseus's ship.  It's also hardwired to be 256 colors for simplicity.  I don't use it in the tty.

My PS1 is also a bit different:

PS1='$(dirs -p | ~/code/bar $? \!)'

And bar is from bar.c (Also local.  Remote bar.c implementations use a different color in place of the blue - different on each remote server, e.g., you see green on a remote server in my screenshot.)

Theme is slightly modified base16-default.
The wallpaper is just a modified version of soundbars from simpledesktops.com.

Hey, can I know what file explorer you are using? It looks pretty sexy.

Same rc.lua for both laptops, wallpaper and system icon according to linux used (arch/fedora only)
Not showing, 'iotd' (see my github), downloading the 'Image of the day' from nasa and set that as background, overwriting the one currently seen.

The arch wallpaper has been found on this forum, sadly when i copied it, i forgot to save a link to it.
So, if you made it, please let me know!

The fedora wallpaper is the default wallpaper of that specific release (22 in this case).

RocketX please read the forum guidelines on image sizes: or read the instructions in the initial post of this thread.  I've removed your large images for now.  Feel free to go back and fix it if you have thumbnails of appropriate size.

Nothing going on.

Stuff going on. I would love to find a way to get scontify to show the music on the top bar on AWM. I haven't got a chance to play with AWM after dropping plasma but once I got the keybindings down. It's just so great.

I'm confused. Can you elaborate on your lemonbar setup? I assume all that stuff at the top is part of your wallpaper?

Yes! lemonbar is transparent and everything is clickable. The workspace indicator is just underline. I have been messing with it for a while but now I just move the elements around and then make the wallpaper fit to it. smile
