Some problems with the 7.1 install

Hi I just did a re-install (ftp 7.1) and there were some problems.
The main problem was with the package installation.
wvstreams could not find openslp as its in extra.
tin could not find libidn as its in extra.
There a problem with all the xf86-input-*, I ended not installing them.

After I install I could not get sound as a user. I had added my self to the audio group, but still no sound. It took me half an hour to figure it out.
There was a ! in the audio line in /etc/group (audio:!: ) do a cat /etc/group.pacnew you'll see what I mean

(sorry if this is in the wrong place)

I've always found it best (and I believe it is recommended) to do a base install and get networking up and running, then proceed with app installation to avoid nasty dependency problems.
