[Solved] network is unreachable error

hi all
i've installed arch on my laptop (dell e5400) after booting from Hard Disk my internet connection has problem.

resault of ping google.com is:
unknown host google.com

$ ping 8.8.8.8 is :
Network is unreachable

tnx :-)

I fix it with : "sudo dhcpcd enp9s0"

Hold on a second, I just gotta' reach over here and pull out my crystal ball.  Ok, blowing the dust off it, gazing deeply into it...  Hmm, it seems your spanger isn't connected to the doohicky.  Just smack it with the thingy in that specific spot and everything will probably not blow up.

Oh, wait, you're having trouble with your network?  Well, perhaps more information like what you have tried - like did you set up dhcpcd on your interface, and any logs that might be relevant would help.

To enable automated connecting upon boot do:

systemctl enable dhcpcd@interface.service

I trust you know what to substitute for "interface". Alternatively you also might want to take a look at this.

Furthermore please edit the thread title to include the [Solved] prefix.
