Hello to the Board - first post and all that.....
I have just installed Arch, having decided to leave Suse. So far, so good.
I am trying to get Firestarter up and running, having installed it via Pacman. When I type "gksu firestarter", as per instructions, I get the following:
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
(firestarter:18881): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:
Gtk is installed so any pointers as to get this up and running would be gratefully received.
Thanks in advance.

Just for the record, it(firestarter event log) works finally
when i ran next command as root
gconftool-2 --set --type string /apps/firestarter/client/system_log /var/log/iptables.log
I removed my sig, cause i select the flag, the flag often the target of enemy.
