Hey, guys!
I just found out that https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/light/ and https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lightfirefox/ are in conflict on my laptop. I had light installed and decided to replace firefox due to its unresponsiveness lately with lightfirefox. On the next reboot instead of light lightfirefox started. I reinstalled light and lightfirefox stopped working.
The other thing I found out is that light prevents pwmfrequency@.service http://devbraindom.blogspot.bg/2013/03/ … intel.html from starting at boot.
Has anyone noticed such conflicts?

This is unavoidable as both packages opted for such common/generic names for their binaries. You could request either upstream source to change the name, or perhaps you could ask one of the AUR maintainers - though I don't think this is a great approach.
If I were you, I'd revise one of the PLGBUILDs locally and rename the necessary files in the package function.
Mod note: not an apps and de issue, moving to AUR subforum.

Thank you, Trilby!
