Are you sure that CD/USB is not corrupt, have checked md5sum?

This is md5sum: 8e10e611a1833b98c74d5eb96b7007eb  archlinux-2016.01.01-dual.iso

And in my terminal: 8e10e611a1833b98c74d5eb96b7007eb  /home/julio/Descargas/archlinux-2016.01.01-dual.iso

It is correct.

Re: Decompressing Linux... Parsing ELF... done. Booting the kernel.

I had a similar problem with an unrelated device - I ended up booting from a "systemrescuecd" image and doing the install more by hand (partition drive, format as btrfs [in my case], mount, start network, grab and run arch-bootstrap.sh...)

I can say it actually worked fine once installed, I just couldn't get the Arch Linux install media to boot.

(The install media was fine, though, as I was able to boot it on other computers. Some quirk of the CPU, maybe...)
