Hi to the community
as you all know we had a booth at Linuxtag 2005, we were strongly supported by a few from the community.
Now here is the call again:
If we want to redo this, we would need someone from you, who does the
organisation. Problem is none of the german devs has time to do the
organisation work atm.
Deadline for Linuxtag is 3rd February ( i know we are a bit late with that
call), Linuxtag itself is from 3rd may to 6th may in wiesbaden germany.
more info on www.linuxtag.org
If you are interested in helping us don't hesitate, contact us.
we have 5 days until deadline
thanks in advance

Good news, ev'ryone:
- we've got 5 volunteers (including tpowa and me) and
- we've got some laptops (from a sponsor)
I think, that this is enough for the moment to sign the registration for the arch booth.
Some more helping hands would be great, because not all of us have time to stay at the Linuxtag all the 4 days. So even when you can be there for 2 days only, you're very welcome to join us.

I may be able to help, but I can't promise anything. I think I can only decide that about 2 weeks before Linuxtag starts.

Thank you for your invitation, I just didn't know there is something to "join" yet, as I talked with tpowa and told him, I want to participate, already.
Can you tell me how to join in? Sorry if I'm just to blind...

Hi guys,
so after a lot of work and quite some problems we're all set. Archlinux will be represented by some of it's brave users and developers. Come and visit us at booth No. 122 (see plan below) and chat with us.
If you can't afford the 15 Euro and need a free ticket, we *might* have a spare ETicket (valid for one day) for you. However, please understand that we will assign them to close friends of the helpers first and can only offer those who are left over two days before the exhibition opens (i.e. on Monday). So if you need a ticket, send a email to delmonico@gmx.net *not* before this day. Include in this mail your email address and your full name and be sure to bringt you ID with you so you will get your entrance ticket there.
Please also note that we pay all the travel costs, ho[s]tel rooms, CD-R and CD sleeves, posters and flyers, food and (last, but not least ) beer from our personal money and would appreciate any donation
Thanks to everyone who helped organizing the booth, including those who can't come but did provide good information, presentation material and everything else.
Booth plan is here: http://www.linuxtag.org/2006/fileadmin/ … ighres.jpg

It would be nice if you guys can spread some arch64 base isos. And you can tell everybody that it will not take a long time the x86_64 port will become an official part of archlinux. Things are in progress.
I doubt to find the time to help you. Maybe next year.
