Hi everyone, I am trying to create a new account with a different username but the "What is the output of "date -u +%V$(uname)|sha256sum|sed 's/\W//g'"?" forum registration challenge is not accepting my answer. I get the output:
3df9dd2da89ae988b7e49c8a988d116133a255a58d8d4e62608ebc5fbfe2488f
Would someone be kind enough to either help me figure out why I'm not getting the correct output, or better yet just give me the correct output (since I'm pretty sure it's clear I'm a human)?
Thanks.

Don't do that: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fo … r_accounts

So given that username change and account deletion requests are also forbidden, we're stuck with one account and username forever?

Yep.

It's a "catch-22" anti-troll anti-newbie anti-spam anti-newuser trick which does not work on latest ArchLinux installations.
The bbs server currently expects a single space and a dash after the sha256 (" -").
Wondering why they choose the sed quirk instead of a clean:
awk '{print $1}'
