Linux-lts 4.1.16-1 Nouveau always crashes

My system was running fine with the regular Linux kernel. On the LTS kernel however, my Nouveau drivers eventually encounter problems.

Running TexMaker for a certain amount of time eventually leads to this. It runs fine otherwise if I'm sticking to just my terminal and Chrome.
