[SOLVED] JACK ALSA and cmus

Hi Community.

following problem occurring constantly:
I have my soundsystem installed with Jack and external Audio Interface Focusrite Saffire via Firewire.
Everything works so far. ffado-mixer is installed to control the interface.
I installed the alsa-jack bridge to playback e.g. with cmus, my favorite musicplayer.

The Problem: When cmus is playing back -  after some time the playback gets distorted extreme.
When i press pause and start again (without restarting cmus or jack, just stop and play again) sound is normal again.
After some time.. same again.
I could have something to do with the ALSA-JACK bridge, i think, because if i playback directly via Jack e.g. with mixxx
the playback runs forever fine without distortion...

Any help ideas?

Thanks,

Daniel.

Re: [SOLVED] JACK ALSA and cmus

Frow what I gather CMUS supports jack natively, can't you use that?

Edit: Seems that the package doesn't compile JACK support in, you might have a case for a bugreport
