Upgraded libx*** and now i cant start firefox [Solved]

Well i did a pacman -Syu , noticed lots of x libs upgrading and then rebooted , now i cant start firefox , this is the terminal output

The program 'firefox-bin' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)'.
  (Details: serial 1033 error_code 1 request_code 154 minor_code 2)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

Any ideas how to fix this ??

yep its true , there are more than firefox , gimp for example

bittorrent has this too.
and xfce4 (svn from shadowhand) won't start either.
last updates really broke a lot. perhaps they should have been in testing first...
