upgrade

Hey,
I just updated through pacman these packages:
libxaw
libsm
libfontenc
libice
libdmx
libxi
libxfontcache
libxfixes
libxext
libxevie
libxdmcp
libxdamage
libxcursor
libxres
libxrender
libxpm
libxmu
libxkbui
libxkbfile
libxxf86vm
libxxf86misc
libxxf86dga
libxxf86dga
libxvmc
now, lots of apps will not launch:
firefox

(firefox-bin:4682): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
        Using the fallback 'C' locale.
The program 'Gecko' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)'.
  (Details: serial 30349 error_code 1 request_code 151 minor_code 2)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

/opt/mozilla/bin/thunderbird

Re: upgrade

Err, for what it's worth... The messages relating to locales have nothing to do with X11. You need to uncomment the locales you use in /etc/locale.gen, then run locale-gen.
