Hi everyone!
I've installed Arch on my new Lenovo Y700 laptop. Everything is working fine, except for the subwoofer. I've tried everything in http://superuser.com/questions/945110/h … k-on-linux, but it doesn't work on this laptop (The solutions are for Y50, the predecessor. There are no solutions yet for Y700).
Has somebody got their y700 subwoofer to work with HDA-Analyzer?
Oh and about Hda-analyzer, the python code fails with syntax errors. I tried executing it with python 2, 3, and even 2.6. Nothing works.
hdajackrestack works, but so far none of the settings make any difference. And btw, how do I kill pulseaudio? It keeps on respawning back up.

I'm having the same issue. Did you get it to work?
Hda-analyzer works for me but following the instructions _here_ doesn't solve my problem...
I also tried this:
in /etc/pulse/default.pa add this line at the end:
load-module module-combine channels=3 channel_map=front-left,front-right,lfe
then in /etc/pulse/daemon.conf change ;enable-lfe-remixing = no to enable-lfe-remixing = yes
These instructions add a new sound output device with three channels. However, when I test the subwoofer in the Gnome settings, I hear sound from the two working speakers but nothing from the subwoofer.
