Can anyone help me with Bumbleebee and Nvidia on a laptop?

Hey, I am having trouble getting Bumblee to work properly with my Nvidia 960m on my laptop.  Everything installs fine and the programs appear to be loading with the 960m when using optirun or primusrun, however I am getting worse performance with the nvidia card than I am with the integrated  intel driver. I did make sure to add my account to the bumblebee group.

It is also worth noting that I had the Nvidia driver loaded prior to trying bumblebee and with the Nvidia driver I was able to get ~3500fps in Armagetronad and 120+ fps in Counter Strike: Global Offensive. But with bumble installed and trying to run Armagetronad with primusrun I get about 120fps and 40 fps in Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Something is wrong but I'm unsure what, I saw that I might need bbswitch installed, so I tried to install bbswitch but then X.org won't start. I've also tried jpeg, rgb, yuv, proxy, and xv with opitirun -c and nothing improved performance.

Can anyone help me with this problem? I could load the Nvidia driver at start and not use the integrated, but then my battery life drastically changes for the worse. Thanks in advanced. smile

Hey thanks a lot. I found that post helpful. I looked through it, and I am getting similar problems.
BBSwitch appears to not be working properly at the moment according to that post, so I decided to remove bbswitch for the time being.

but this didn't work for me. I have no config files in /etc/X11

I am still getting poor performance in video games. Did I miss some important relevant information from that post you linked? And is there any hope in getting decent performance with bumblebee?
