lagging with usb pci card

I've got a thinkpad t420 running archlinux.
I bought a usb 3.0 pci card (NEC UPD720202 chip) wich should work with linux on t420 but when I insert my card, the system begins to lag extremly. Futhermore, it is not shown on lspci and connected usb sticks are not detected.
This occurs if I plug it in my running system just as if i plug it in before starting.
It also occured with another usb pci card I borrowed from a friend with a previous kernel version.

Open a terminal window and run this command then plug the device in and post any output:

udevadm monitor

$ udevadm monitor
monitor will print the received events for:
UDEV - the event which udev sends out after rule processing
KERNEL - the kernel uevent

After about 5min still nothings happened, except the lags, so i removed it.

When the system is lagging, which processes are hogging the CPU in (for example) top?

You can also use iotop to check I/O

top and iotop showed some kworker/u16:X (x=0..6). By inserting the card my loadavg increaes to 2.4, after removin it goes fast to 0.6 and then to 0.15.

Magically, I got one working run. My system wasn't lagging until I did a reboot. After rebooting the problem occured again, even after removal and inserting I new.
