Sound Problem / Line Out - Headphones.

Hello,

i've a problem with my sound configuration:

In gnome control center i have 2 entries possibilities for output sound: digital output and line output.

My problem is that i can choose line output (analogic) but the system doesn't keep it and go on digital output.

Also, i can see that line out line always switch from "line out" to "headphones" although there isn't headphones connected.

My sound card is HDA Intel PCH, ALC892.
My motherboard is a gigabyte H87N-Wifi.

Thank you for your help.

Re: Sound Problem / Line Out - Headphones.

Hello,

i made a gif to explain my problem with the switch between line out and headphones on my arch install:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1ZcNb … sp=sharing

and if i want to select line out, it goes to digital output:

Realtek Alc892, after my web searches seems to be bad recognized on linux and archlinux...

If someone have an idea?

Thank you.

PS: is there a way to insert gif directly in the post on the forum?
