[Solved] upnp/DLNA streaming broken in totem

Previously, I was using totem (GNOME Videos) to watch my movies from my NAS upnp server via the "Channels" tab, after having installed grilo-plugins, gupnp-av and dleyna-server. Some time just before christmas this stopped working. I'm 90% sure this was spontaneous breakage following some update but I'm not completely certain.

I can access my upnp library by Kodi or Foobar+Wine.

I have tried removal and reinstallation of the relevant packages but this does not seem to be able to fix my problems.

Complete documentation for setting up GNOME apps (Videos, Music) with DLNA/upnp seems to be hard to find.

Any suggestions to fix this or ideas where to start?

Also, is anyone else having this issue?

Re: [Solved] upnp/DLNA streaming broken in totem

Same issue for me. Totem seems unable to discover upnp service on local network (with minidlna) whereas vlc does.
It looks like this feature is related to grilo which has recenlty been updated so it may be related.

Unfortunately I cannot find previous version in my pacman cache folder to test downgrading.
Try to sequentially downgrade packages if you can to find which one is concerned.

cd /var/cache/pacman/pkg
pacman -U previouspackage

Edit:
Recent gupnp update seems to resolve the problem.

Thanks for your reply.

Recent updates solved this for me too.

I'll mark this as solved I guess..
