[SOLVED]Setting ZoneInfo to GMT+5(Pakistan)

How can I set the zonenfo to GMT+5. I know that i can set the zone info by using 'ln -sF /usr/share/zoneinfo/[country]/[city] /etc/localtime' but I'm from Pakistan which doesn't seem to exist in '/usr/share/zoneinfo'

What about Asia/Karachi?

General rule of thumb -- most cities aren't really listed, you can just choose whichever place is closest to you. (Or really, any place that is in the same timezone.)

Alternatively, you can expand the list of timezones your system knows about: https://www.linuxjournal.com/content/ad … time-zones
