Hello,
Anyone else having issues with the KDE digital clock and calendar appearing invisible? I have recently fresh installed Arch with Plasma 5 on two separate computers to check the issue and the clock does not show on both installations. Just wanted to check before I submit a bug report. Nothing comes up from a quick google/forums search. The clocks in other DEs work so I am almost positive it is not an issue with the hw clock on either of my machines.
Thanks in advance!

I'm experiencing this same issue. When I add the analog clock widget, it appears just fine... Any ideas?

I switched to xfce. No idea when this is going to get fixed

sorry to bump this thread up but i face exactly the same problem on a fresh arch install with the latest plasma. digital clock is invisible. it's there, i can access its settings but i don't see the time being displayed. tried to remove the widget, add a new one, on desktop, in systray, in brand new control panel, no luck.
any idea?

can anyone help? it's quite bad to not have a clock in your taskbar...
i got it fixed with the way that i added a dedicated analog clock to the systray and then switched it to a digital one.

Mine still displays, but the virtual-desktops / calendar /digital clock periodically flash in a very annoying way. Not sure if this is related or not. (Interim invisibility?)
[Also, my application menu periodically provides access only to dropbox's menu, but I take that to be a dropbox bug.]

Try setting time zone. That worked for me. Now the digital clock is visible.

Please pay attention to the dates and note that you are replying to a 6 year old thread where the OP is hopefully not still chasing this issue.
Closing.
