Arch stuck on booting

I've finally decided to try Arch, and set it up first in VirtualBox. I followed these https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/installation_guide instructions up to

   # echo LANG=your_locale > /etc/locale.conf

But when I remove the virtual media, I get "No bootable medium found. Halted!"

What have I done wrong?

That error has to do with the bootloader. It's apparently not installed correctly.

well you said it yourself. the #echo LANG step was the last step you completed. you need to complete the steps below as well, especially the one where it says install a bootloader.
