Booting off the ipxe cdrom, choose 64 bit install, very nice by the way,
and it starts up, then stops at the command prompt.
No Phy device, no ethernet port, trying to use tg3, it's not seeing the
hardware. Yes, I've done all the lspci, the ifconfig -a , and so on.
I've seen the posts about removing tg3, then try broadcom first, then
tg3 again, no luck at all. Even if it did work, how does one continue
the install anyways ?
Is there a known work around, a kernel parameter that I can pass.
If not, is there an older version anyone knows that will work for this 'older' hardware.
I discovered Arch years ago, and regret not having gone that route back then.
