Macbook Pro Touchpad

Hi,

Has anyone found a near perfect setup for their touchpad? IE finger flicking scrolling, multi-gesture, acceleration, etc; similar to how MacOS X handles the touchpad. I couldn't find a way to set it up correctly in the wiki, and I was curious if there are any other macbook users out there trying to install Arch.

Thanks

Re: Macbook Pro Touchpad

I use an Apple trackpad with my desktop, and have arch installed on a macbook. My current setup (which I'm fairly happy with - needs some tweaks, but haven't had the time) uses synaptics driver, setting up all settings on startup with synclient, and touchegg.

I get 4 finger drag select (identical to OS X) with touchegg, and two finger scrolling (with inertia), two-finger-tap for right click, three for middle click, etc. with synaptics. As far as I know, gestures (with touchegg), acceleration, and other fancy stuff can all be setup if you have the time.

I've heard good reports of mtrack and libinput for trackpads too that you could look into.
