Sorry, I don't about xfwm (and I don't know if xfwm supports it either)... But after a quick google, I found that some terminals can request a borderless window from standards-compliant windowmanagers... In urxvt this was -bl switch, I tested the it and it worked in openbox, you might try it in xfwm too.
