xfce_4.12 + firefox or opera + html5

Hi!
When watching a video html5 in browser (firefox or opera) my screen goes blank after 5 minutes (default settings).
When viewing the flash video, screen does not go off.

How to make that screen does not go off when viewing video html5 ?

I do not need to completely disable the screen saver

My guess they haven't implemented DPMS for html5 video, doubt there's something you can do. I would check about:config or about:flags for anything DPMS related.

in cinnamon is not turned off the screen when viewing html5

This is a known issue and there are several different solutions for fixing it.

If you want something to be served on your platter, then indeed there is no solution. Here's the relevant post from that thread: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 9#p1609169. It is specific to flash, but you can easily implement a solution for HTML5 as well.
