Starting from yesterday I could not update the system anymore. It worked great before.
$ yaourt -Syua

I tried to re-install curl and pacman. Looks like SSH remote key is good. System date is right.

yaourt is broken. Use pacman to update your system. Either remove or fix (rebuild) yaourt.

You could equally say, Popular != Bad
And guilt by association (as in, automatically inserting a diatribe against yaourt, even when the OP's problem has nothing to do with the flaws you bring up) is not very helpful and kind of off-putting.
If rebuilding yaourt/package-query fixes the problem then the answer is not "there are better AUR helpers", and you have mutated the thread into a recommendation thread.
