Rhythmbox is not seeing my m4a tracks in the music folders I have it pionted at. I am sure it can as when I had it loaded on Fedora it saw them all.
Anyone know the libs or plugins that I need to load to get this to happen, we have an apple so lots of m4a files.
Thanks

To correctly play mp4 or m4a files with gstreamer, you must also have gstreamer-quicktime in addition to gstreamer-faad installed.
Both belong to gstreamer-bad. gstreamer-faad has a seperate package if I remember correctly. Make sure you use the 0.10 versions ![]()

OK giving ti a try.....
....I used to think that the fedora forum was quick but you guys are on top of everything. I was initally not sure about installing arch due to inexperience but it has been less painless than any fedora install i have ever done.

Loaded up gst-plugins-faad and gstreamer-bad but still no go with the m4a tracks
Import error:
The GStreamer plugins to decode "MP3" files cannot be found
They are all the m4a files. All mp3 files are loading and bopping away...
