Normally when using my usb mouse all is well, but whenever a start up a game everything goes haywire. The mouse will constantly be connected and disconnected over and over again. This is reflected at the end of dmesg and makes games impossible to play.
I've thought that the issue might be the kernel turning off the ports to save power, so I tried changing the autosuspend settings using powertop, but had no changes in behavior. I also tried all of the usb ports, and using a different port also makes no improvement.
I also thought it might be my mouse, but I've tried other wireless mice as well as several wired mice and the result is always the same.
This has also been a problem for several kernels at this point, so it's not due to a new kernel being released.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated
