cannot update

I can't update my system

fanis@erebus ~> sudo pacman -Syu
[sudo] password for fanis:
:: Synchronizing package databases...
 core is up to date
 extra is up to date
 community is up to date
 multilib is up to date
 pipelight is up to date
:: Starting full system upgrade...
:: Replace oxygen-cursors with extra/oxygen? [Y/n] y
resolving dependencies...
looking for conflicting packages...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: plasma-meta: removing oxygen-cursors breaks dependency 'oxygen-cursors'
fanis@erebus ~> sudo pacman -Syu
:: Synchronizing package databases...
 core is up to date
 extra is up to date
 community is up to date
 multilib is up to date
 pipelight is up to date
:: Starting full system upgrade...
:: Replace oxygen-cursors with extra/oxygen? [Y/n] n
resolving dependencies...
looking for conflicting packages...
:: oxygen and oxygen-cursors are in conflict. Remove oxygen-cursors? [y/N] n
error: unresolvable package conflicts detected
error: failed to prepare transaction (conflicting dependencies)
:: oxygen and oxygen-cursors are in conflict

I am stuck. What should I do?

Re: cannot update

The plasma-meta 5.6-1 was pushed to extra four hours ago, and it drops the dependency on the removed oxygen-cursors package.

But they were moved together into the same repo, so unless you have IgnorePkg'ed something I am a bit confused as to how you could get that error on a `pacman -Syu`

...

Or your mirror somehow managed to sync during the seven-minute window that the updated plasma-meta package was not available according to the svntogit logs. Not unreasonable since it happened on either side of the hour.
So just wait until your mirror syncs, I guess (or find one that isn't a couple hours out of date, what kind of a bleeding edge distro do you think this is anyway big_smile).
