I have been googling and searching to fix this for 3 days now and no progress.
The problem i am having is.
I play CS GO (Native Linux Client) and i cant chat or have a name that contains special letters like "ÅÄÖ"
See screen shots:
They work perfectly in game text like this:

But when i am ingame it looks like this:
http://i.imgur.com/exwkdbk.jpg
as you can see my name which is Fågeln is just F and sometimes i get 20+ weird squares after the name.
This also makes it so i cant chat in Swedish, not in game or the Steam HUD (Works perfectly in the Steam client when not ingame)
What i have tried:
Reinstalled CS GO
Reinstalled Steam
Installed all the fonts that could be the issue.
Changed X11 Keyboard layout and VC Keymap.
Tried custom fonts in CS GO.
Installed Steam-fonts from AUR
Downloaded all the CS fonts and added them manually.
Change the xorg config to set it as SV (Swedish)
Tried setting the Game language to Swedish.
rebooted PC
This happens with more then just Swedish letters, any time there is a "Special Character" as a first character the players Name just go blank, as you can see in screenshot 2.
Does anyone have a clue what could be wrong?
EDIT:
It works in other steam games...
