Set Fan Speed

Goodafternoon everybody,
I would like to control the fans of my laptop, I know that usually it isn't possible, but on windows I can set them on "Automatic" or "Max speed", I would like to have at least this feature on arch, I tried following lm_sensors guide but when I type sensors it doesn't find the chip:

Some systems (mainly servers) implement IPMI, a set of common interfaces

I have the same issue, unable to sense or configure fans.

Same unidentified chip shows up in sensors-detect:

Possible avenues of attack from nosing around:
- force lm_sensors to think the chip is something else and similar ( http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2201555 )
- use acpi to report the info rather than lm_sensors
- stop acpi from claiming the sensors if this is the problem (http://hydra.geht.net/tino/howto/linux/fixes/w83627hf/ - dangerous?)

Not sure how to proceed - any help would be appreciated!
