[Solved] How to find out what pakages are present in the install cd?

I have the 700 mb cd.
I want to know what packages can I use without installing archlinux.
Also, what packages are installed just after installing.

The name of the package manager is pacman.

Thats not what I meant.
Just like debian gives package list of their cds like http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/weekl … 4/list-cd/
I want the list of included packages on cd

This is what you meant. You already have the installer medium. Boot the installer (in a virtual machine or on your real machine) and run pacman to list all the packages.

About the packages installed after installing, please read the beginner's guide. The "installer" only installs what you tell it to.

I tried pacman -Q
It gives database not found.

I can not confirm your issue with archlinux-2016.04.01-dual.iso

tried with march+april iso

pacman -Q | less

complains about missing dbs but eventually returns the package list
