Hi!
When I run pavucontrol I get the following error:
pavucontrol: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libgdkmm-3.0.so.1: undefined symbol: gdk_seat_get_type
FYI, I have the testing repo enabled.
Do you have any ideas on what could be causing this or how to figure it out?
Thanks!

Entire system up to date?

Yes, everything's up to date.

Any old AUR package or self compile lying around that shouldn't be there?

I have some AUR packages installed, but not very old as this is a fairly new install (a month as much). Let me see if I can retrieve a list of the packages installed via AUR.

I don't use [testing] so this may be an ignorant question. That lib (libgdkmm-3.0.so.1) is part of gtkmm3, of which a newer version exists in [testing]. Might it be worthwhile to try the older version in [extra]?
But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist.

Thanks alphaniner! That's a good observation, I'll try that.

In case you haven't solved this yet, downgrade to gtkmm3-3.18.0-2 and pavucontrol-3.0-2 and it'll all work again.

I'm running gtkmm3-3.20.1-1 and pavucontrol-3.0-4 without any issues here, so I'm suspecting something else might be the cause in your case.

I'm guessing gtk3 isn't up to date.

Thank you all! installing the one from extra fixed the issue for me. I was super busy and unable to test it.
