[Solved]Cinnamon panel and terminator

I have an odd problem that I have no idea how to troubleshoot. I have a very simple setup.. updated arch install with cinnamon, gdm and terminator. When I launch a terminator window, the panel does not show a terminator tab.

When I open another terminator window, the panel will show the second tab.

Nothing changes when the first terminator window is minimized. You can even still see two terminator sessions still up.

If I kill the first terminator window, nothing in the panel changes. If I close both terminal windows, I can easily repeat the problem.

No other programs have this behavior. Firefox for example will show the right number of panel tabs per open windows. I can provide whatever logs or info needed but I am at a loss on how to troubleshoot this issue. Any advice?

A purge of terminator and reinstall fixed it. I must of had a weird setting doing something.
