XFCE4, screen blinks each time i run mouse across screen border

Hello,
i have XFCE4, Thinkpad X201
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02)

and when i setup two monitors and drag mouse from one to the other it blinks. only the monitor that was just left by mouse blinks. sometimes it even stays dark until i "revisit" it with mouse pointer again. it's quite annoying. I've tried both. With and without xfce compositor. no difference.

Any ideas?
