Compiz issues

Long time lurker, first time poster...

I've got XGL and Compiz up and running, and mostly tweaked just the way I want it. However, today I realized something else I'd like to do that would require firing up gconf-editor and messing with the plugin settings for Cube.

So I do, and I navigate to appscompizpluginscube And I find that I have no further options from that point on. And the same goes for ALL of my compiz plugins.

I was under the impression (possibly mistaken) that there should have been a screen0 field as well as an options sub field. Anyone have any idea why these wouldnt be there? And if so, any idea how I get them back?

try running this command:

gconftool-2 --install-schema-file /usr/etc/gconf/schemas/compiz.schemas

it should rebuild the options in gconf for compiz, giving you your options back.
