Frame around notification area in Xfce with Adwaita

Hello,
After the latest update of Adwaita, I can not disable the frame around the notification area in XFCE. All other themes work fine. Is there a way to fix it?

Same here. Downgrade adwaita or change theme.

Downgrading it is a very bad idea. You'd have to downgrade everything included in that update.

Just downgrade the gnome-theme-standard and the problem can  be solved. I added this to the Xfce Wiki.
