I use to play Dota 2 by launching the Steam client directly from the GNOME Shell icon. In order to launch the game itself I used to just enter 'primusrun %command%' in the client's properties and it was enough. After the NVidia 361.28 update I had to start using the following environment variables:
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/nvidia/libGL.so __GLVND_DISALLOW_PATCHING=1 optirun %command%
Everything was very smooth until the last few days when (I guess a new update is responsible) I started to get minidumps when using Bumblebee after a random time playing; freezing the game for some 30 seconds and then killing the client. Here is the relevant output.

I am using the latest NVidia packages with Bumblebee. I have a GTX840M.
Do not hesitate to ask for more details if you need them.
Thank you in advance.

What packages did you update around the time this started happening?
Have you tried a manual roll-back to see if it is the packages and then specific package upgrades as a test?

Claire is fine.
Problems? I have dysgraphia, so clear and concise please.

I checked on the pacman.log history and around March 17th I got the kernel, Xorg and the NVidia driver updated. I have not played in a while but I guess those are the packages that are most relevant.
I have a bunch of other stuff from Xorg updated like libxcb and few others but I do not know if those really care.
I will try to downgrade in a few hours. I do not have access to my PC right now. I will keep you updated.

As of today's update of Bumblebee (3.2.1-11) I am able to play my Dota smoothly and without hiccups. A huge thank you to the developers for fixing this!
Kind regards.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that the downgrade to the last version was not effective and I still got minidumps. I just downgraded nvidia and xorg related packages though. I did not try the kernel.
