I wanted to edit some shell files and use ranger as my file browser. Ranger automatically opens these in vim for me, but I wanted it to open .sh files in gedit. I added this line:
ext sh = gedit "$@"
to ~/.config/rifle.conf but no changes in Ranger's functionality were made. Shell files still open in vim.
Is there a reason this isn't working?
