[SOLVED] Mware: C header files matching your running kernel were not f

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to install VMware (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VMware).

I get the following error:

Kernel headers for version 4.5.0-1-ARCH were not found. If you installed them in a non-default path you can specify the path below.

I've linux-headers properly installed. Choosing /usr/lib/modules/4.5.1-1-ARCH/build/include/generated as path throws the following error:

C header files matching your running kernel were not found.  Refer to your distribution's documentation for installation instructions.

I tried to manually copy and/or link the files to /usr/src, with no luck.

$ uname -a
Linux 4.5.0-1-ARCH

EDIT:
Rebooting the system solved the issue. I thought that solution only worked under Windows systems.

Any ideas?
Thanks.

Sounds like you haven't rebooted after a kernel update.
