Please.  Your posts are a combination of empty posts and bumps
Don't do that.   These are active forums and the lack of response is an indication you have not provided enough information.  You may want to read the article linked in my signature.

For example, what video hardware have you? Which video driver? Are you using a compositor?  Are you using the Gnome environment, or just Gnome terminal?
Have you tried other terminals? (urxvt? xterm?)   Does this happen at a console?
Have you tried other environments? twm is easy to try.
Have you created a new user and tried it with a fresh default profile?
What vim extensions have you installed?
What else have you tried?  What else have you read?

Re: gnome terminal and vim scrolling

it happens only when i use gnome terminal and my custom vim color scheme .
using xterm or xfce terminal doesn't have problem with my color scheme .
so i guess i'll just switch to standard color scheme to solve my problem .

man, vim color schems syntax are worst thing every, they really should simplify color schemes .

Re: gnome terminal and vim scrolling

this problem is not only caused by my custom colorscheme, i found several others standard colorschemes also case it .
for example : https://github.com/atelierbram/vim-colors_duotones
and from vim package itself : darkblue, industry ...

thank you that indeed fixed it .
but i am not going to use this until i understand what it means .
for now i'll continue using colorscheme that works out of the box .
