[SOLVED] how to file a bug caused by giflib in a mono program?

Hi,

After the update to the AUR4 I decided to reintroduce a small mono program back in the AUR called Smath studio.
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/smath/

Suddenly the package broke and I spent some time trying to figure out what was going on.
Now I narrowed it down to the package giflib.
The version 5.1.2-1 broke the program and rolling back this single package to 5.1.1-1 fixed it.

How can I get the ball rolling to have this fixed upstream so that the giflib package no longer breaks this?
Please advise.

We only have the error dump from when it crashed (in the AUR comments)

Thanks
Tom

Open a bug for giflib upstream: http://sourceforge.net/projects/giflib/
